the experience
imagine this…It's a perfect East Coast fall morning.
The sun is shining, but the air feels crisper, cooler than it did just two weeks ago. You pull up to The Grounds, and almost immediately you feel yourself exhale. Once you've crossed the threshold, it's as though you've walked into a different world — an oasis of nature, art, and healing, just 30 minutes outside of DC.
You take a few minutes to grab a cup of coffee or tea on the deck and fall into the most serendipitous conversation with a woman you've just met but feel like you could have known for years.
Time expands over the next two days.
You feel so nourished by the fresh air, delicious organic food, and honest conversations. You've moved your body and meditated more than a typical weekday — and you're reminded how good it feels. You've been outside more too: some workshops in the open-air studio, some in the glass greenhouse, some right in the garden. You've gotten friendly with the llamas and the fluffy sheepdog.
The answer to the question you've been asking yourself came through during the Shibori dye class. Are you surprised? Not really. But it still feels magic that this gets to be how and where your idea comes to life.

Feminine Leadership Coach, Mother of 2For over a decade, I’ve supported women through major career changes, business launches, motherhood, personal losses, leadership expansions, and more. The essence of my work is holding women as they conceive and birth something new.
I know this territory professionally. And I know it personally.
Most recently, I found myself questioning a life I had worked very hard to build. I had created a successful online coaching business & was the breadwinner for my young family. I had a powerful body of work and a 7-figure vision for where the business could go next.
Then I had my daughter. And almost overnight, my dream began to change.
First, it was quiet. Just a whisper. But eventually I had to stop trying to make the old dream work and start asking: Is this still my dream? Is this really how I want to be spending my time? The answer was no.
So I got to work, leading myself through the Dream Catcher process I’ve led dozens and dozens of women through.
I realized I didn’t want to spend another year tinkering with online offers. I wanted to write the book I’d been talking about for years and host a local retreat. I wanted more time with my children. More quiet. More in-person community. More gatherings in gardens and fewer days spent entirely on Zoom.
Six months later, I am living that dream. My dream.
The book is nearing completion (and will be in your hands at Evolve!!), and the retreat is, well, this. My husband went back to work full time, and I’m spending more of my days in nature, with my kids, while prioritizing the creative callings that truly light me up.
We are living in extraordinary times, and now, more than ever, women are feeling called to birth the new. What worked before isn’t what’s ahead—and that’s a good thing.
What all these years of experience, and my own latest evolution, have made abundantly clear is this: The deepest answers are rarely found by reaching farther outside ourselves. They are found by intentionally, consistently going within.
That doesn’t mean you have to navigate change alone. You get to be richly supported, deeply held, and have FUN in the process, which is exactly why this retreat came into being.

Yes. Nursing babes in arms are always welcome at my events.
This won’t be an environment designed for toddlers or bigger kiddos (I won’t be bringing mine!), though I have a very real vision of offering childcare at a future gathering. -
