I needed this reminder too

I love the freedom and flexibility that comes with being my own boss, but I sometimes do miss the camaraderie and teamwork that comes with being a part of bigger company.

As I shared last week, I started a mastermind group to create a support system for my business visions and goals.

Another thing I'm committed to doing more of in 2020 is collaboration. I've had the pleasure of getting to know a lot of really incredible people within the health and wellness field, and I'm looking forward to making space in my schedule to co-create with some of these awesome humans.

And it's already happening!

This week I'm a guest on Caitlin Ball's Quit Dieting for Good podcast and this is a conversation you don't want to miss!

We recorded this episode before the holidays, so I had honestly forgotten about the specific things we talked about. Also, I sometimes "black out" during interviews or coaching sessions when I'm really present and don't remember what I said when the conversation is over. To me it's a good sign! ;)

When Caitlin shared the episode with me earlier this week, I was truly impressed by all that we covered in our 30 minute chat. AND I got a reminder (from myself, ha!) that I really needed this week.

Here's what you'll learn in the episode:

  • Why honoring your own needs is not selfish, but in fact the best thing you can do for your business or work

  • How perfectionism can sneak its way into our health and wellness habits and why this will keep you feeling stuck no matter your pant size or how clean your diet is

  • What it actually means to "listen to your body"

  • And so much more!

Best of all, we had a great time recording this episode, which I think is apparent from the ease and flow of the conversation. I'm really looking forward to collaborating and having more of these convos when my podcast gets up and running later this spring!

If you've got 30 minutes today, I highly recommend giving this episode a listen - maybe on your commute or lunch break. And if not, save it for later. It's worth it.
