Rooted Mother
retreat
nourish, connect, thrive
May 20 - 24, 2023
She struggles…
To stay plugged into her feminine power
To not sacrifice her own health & happiness for that of her children, her family
To connect with nature & the Great Mother
But there is another way…
We are not settling for the martyrdom asked of mothers of the past…
Maybe we’re even angry that many of our mothers, our grandmothers were delegated to less than.
We’re asking, no demanding, more.
More support
More love
More abundance
More freedom
More joy
Because we know from this place, we have infinite ability to create, heal, and serve.
This is my intention with the Rooted Mother retreat.
4 days and 4 nights of nourishment for the mother’s body, mind and spirit
We’ll gather in a cozy cottage nestled between the ocean and the woods in Maine.
We’ll start our day with movement, meditation and ritual.
We’ll eat delicious, organic, local and wild foraged food.
We’ll have deep, soul stirring conversations.
A deposit of $500 saves your spot
Pop's Cottage is a century old beach side cottage in picturesque Kittery Point, Maine. The home was recently renovated and now has all modern amenities while still maintaining it's historic charm.
The house, the beach, the town are all my “happy place.” It’s where I go in meditation to find my inner calm. It’s not just me who feels it - over 20 past retreat guests and countless friends and family agree, there’s magic here.
“The retreat with Emily was more than I could have imagined! I learned so much about myself, met wonderful like-minded women, had many first experiences (including my first tarot reading, which I was nervous about, but I’m so glad I did it)! Since the retreat, I am feeling more connected to myself, more grounded and experiencing more joy! I am proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and making my self care a priority for this retreat!”

“Every moment of the retreat was important and my "favorite". I loved having time to myself but also loved my time with the group. I enjoyed yoga so much. I enjoyed every meal. I enjoyed being in nature, the workshops, the sunrises, the afternoons, the time to sleep, the quiet moments where everyone was in a room but not necessarily talking to each other, dancing in the kitchen, truly everything. I felt I was present in every moment and looking back, every moment was sacred.”

mother i feel you, mother i see you, mother i am you
Hi friend, I’m Emily - I'm a career coach & business mentor for spiritual woman.
I'm also a mom to 9-month-old Flynn.
I do not believe being a good mom means you have to sacrifice yourself, your ambition, or your relationships.
I believe that a new future is possible, one in which mothers and children, and therefore our families, our businesses and the world all THRIVE.
With me, you will feel empowered and encouraged to live, work and mother on your own terms.
Join me in the revolution.
what's the schedule like?
Morning movement and meditation. I’ll be leading some of these sessions, but will also have a guest or two come in to teach.
Midday free time. Snuggle your baby, take an ocean walk, explore Kittery, explore your subconsious.
Afternoon workshops aligned with this retreat’s theme: the Rooted Mother. Topics I'm playing around with teaching on: leading without martydom, relational astrology, connecting to your unique medicine. We might even do some mini photoshoots!
Nightly tarot pulls and deep convos. Tea sipping, star gazing, magic making.
Delicious food prepared by chef Colin (including a coursed, plated diner for our final evening together). Food is organic, locally sourced and seasonal / foraged as much as possible. Not your average retreat food, it’s better :)
Ritual to open and close our time together.

Deeply connected with herself
Connected to her sisters
Connected to Spirit
She can provide: Shelter, sustenance, shade from the sun
And of course… beauty
“I liked that Emily allowed us the space to just "BE HUMANS" at the retreat -- instead of feeling like we had to be in all the other roles that we hold everyday, like coach, teacher, spouse, etc. This was freeing for me and allowed me to relax and let go of the "coach" role for the weekend.”
