I first discovered yoga as a way to balance out a lifetime of distance running. It wasn’t long before I came to rely on the practice to bring relief to both my body and my mind from long days sitting at a desk and long miles on the road.  I completed my 200-hour teacher training through The Studio DC in Washington, DC in 2013 and have trained with master teachers such as Jason Crandell, Natasha Rizopoulos, and Tiffany Cruikshank.  On the mat, I strive to create a challenging yet mindful experience for my students, encouraging breath and flow as means to approach difficult postures.
