Thanksgiving Recipe Round Up 2015

And it’s that time of year again - THANKSGIVING! aka my favorite holiday. Yes, I love the food, but, as I’ve mentioned before, I love the spirit of the holiday. I love my family’s tradition of spending quality time with each other - cooking together, going to the movies, and, yes, even shopping on Black Friday.

Often times people are surprised that I love Thanksgiving so much. “But Emily, you don’t even eat turkey!.” I’m very fortunate that turkey is only a small part (okay, maybe it’s a medium sized part) of my family’s meal - we really go crazy with the veggies and meat-free sides. There are some dishes we make year after year (roasted veggies, twice baked sweet potatoes, garlic string beans) but one of my favorite things is to find NEW and exciting dishes to try out each year.
